In short: NEKOSPORT is a management tool. Organizers are responsible for the data and results they enter, and the platform does not certify official results.
1. Introduction
NEKOSPORT (“the Platform”) is a software platform designed to manage sports tournaments, including participant registration, category management, match organization (Kumite and Kata), and medal tracking.
The Platform is operated by Juan Castro and Luis Torres (“the Operators”), acting as natural persons based in Colombia.
By accessing or using NEKOSPORT, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature of the service
When using NEKOSPORT, please keep in mind that:
- Features may change at any time
- The Platform may contain bugs or errors
- Stability and availability are not guaranteed
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
3. Eligibility
The Platform may be used by tournament organizers, sports clubs, athletes, and general users. Minors may only be registered through authorized organizers or responsible adults. The Operators are not responsible for verifying the identity or legal authorization of such registrations.
4. Description of the Service
NEKOSPORT provides tools to:
- Create and manage tournaments
- Define categories
- Register participants
- Generate competition brackets (Kumite and Kata)
- Record and edit match results
- Manage medal assignments
The Platform acts as a management tool only and does not validate or certify results.
5. User Accounts
Users may be required to create an account using email and password. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for all activities performed under their account. The Operators reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if misuse is detected.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the Platform in good faith
- Not manipulate or falsify competition data
- Not attempt to exploit or disrupt the system
Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy of tournament data, the correctness of entered results, and the management of participants.
7. Data Handling
The Platform may store personal information (name, age, gender), club affiliation, country, physical measurements, and tournament participation data.
Note: Account or data deletion may not currently be available.
8. User-Generated Content
All tournament data, results, and participant information are considered user-generated content. The Operators do not guarantee the accuracy of this data and do not act as an official authority in competition results.
9. Availability of Service
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Operators do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or data permanence.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operators shall not be liable for:
- Incorrect match results or tournament outcomes
- Errors in bracket generation
- Loss of data
- Service interruptions during events
- Any direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Platform
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
11. Intellectual Property
All rights related to the Platform — including software, design, and branding — belong to the Operators. User data remains the responsibility of the users who provide it.
12. Future Payments
NEKOSPORT may introduce paid features in the future, including subscriptions and event-based payments. Such changes will be communicated in advance and governed by updated terms.
13. Termination
The Operators may suspend or terminate access at any time, including in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms. Users may discontinue use at any time.
14. Modifications
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia.
